International Parliamentary Diplomacy

President – OACPS Parliamentary Assembly (2025–present)

Elected in February 2025, becoming the first Ugandan to hold this position. Co‑Chairs the OACPS‑EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. Key achievements:

  • Led a delegation to the European Parliament to advocate for fair trade terms
  • Secured €2 million for climate adaptation projects in member states
  • Hosted the 2025 OACPS Parliamentary Conference in Kampala
